HP 3458A first test assembly with new parts

Well, that’s the plan for tomorrow. Two packages are already waiting for me at post.
First one have parts from Keysight Technologies, such as new transformer, chassis buttons, key caps, feet, fuse holder.

Second package is Digikey order for DC fan and capacitors, so I can recap power supply boards and get all into order.
A4 inguard power board we already repaired and tested using Keithley transformer, digital A5 PCBA got fresh NVRAM chips, new GPIB connector and some good cleaning, A9 Linear LTZ1000A-based reference board is tested and ready.

Hope to get initial functions working, and then we can run self-test and see if any issues arise. A2 and A3 boards look pristine, so I don’t expect problems from them. A1 DC board is more worrysome, as some component were replaced or resoldered by previous owner and that could mean there was a problem, which ownet could not solve.

Let’s see what happens!
