Teardown
Power supply replacement
Original power supply was faulty and had bad output MiniFit Jr connector with noticeable discoloration.
Replacement from eBay was acquired from a similar R&S insturment but with slightly different product code K10035. This power supply is also made by TDK-Lambda NV-175, part-number NV1-453TTH-N2-C. This supply also had five channels:
- Channel 1 – +5.2V 25A
- Channel 2 – +3.3V 15A
- Channel 3 – +12.2V 5A
- Channel 4 – -12V 2A
- Channel Aux 5 – +13.5V 1A
Sadly new TDK-Lambda built power supply also had crappy chinese low-cost capacitors and I had to replace them with something nice and properly reliable.
